Students tell story on stage
29th May, 2018
A group of international students from countries such as China, Brazil, Indonesia, India, Iraq and Australia delivered a sell-out theatre performance at Victoria University on May 4.
The Act of Translation Reaches Out program follows the overwhelming success of the original Act of Translation student theatre project created in collaboration of RMIT University, Study Melbourne, the City of Melbourne, Federation of International Students and artistic director Catherine Simmonds.
The stage play revolves around the untold stories of international students in Melbourne and their living, studying and cultural experiences.
A documentary about this program was launched at the Immigration Museum in March.
