A massive workers union rally brought the CBD to a standstill on May 9, with tens of thousands of advocates taking to the street to rally for better wage and welfare.
The protest, which travelled from Trades Hall to the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, shut down roads and tram services across the CBD.
The rally aimed to lobby for an overhaul of Australia’s workplace laws to protect workers.
